Founder & Executive Director

Linda Kusi is a public health strategist, social entrepreneur, and fierce advocate for health equity. She is the Founder and Executive Director of SALTED Health Foundation, an organization rooted in love, service, and justice—committed to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) through education, screening, and systems strengthening.

Born in Ghana and raised across both Ghana and the United States, Linda’s work is deeply personal and purpose-driven. She founded SALTED Health Foundation to address critical gaps in sickle cell diagnosis and care, particularly in underserved communities. Her vision is inspired by the legacy of the late Prof. Kwaku Ohene-Frempong and the many families who have long fought in silence for better care.

Linda holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and brings over a decade of experience in healthcare systems, nonprofit leadership, and cross-sector collaboration. She has worked across both local and global health settings—leading initiatives in health equity, systems strengthening, and community-based programming. In 2025, she was selected as a NextGen Global Leader by the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) in recognition of her bold vision and grassroots impact. She leads SALTED with relentless faith and an unwavering belief: that no child should die from a preventable disease, and no family should be left behind.
